Dr. Puja Sangoi completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2016. Upon finishing dental school, she completed her Masters in public health at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Following this, she completed a two-year residency program with the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and Norton Children’s Hospital specializing in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Sangoi is a board-certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, holds diplomate status in the College of Diplomates, and is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Growing up in a small town, Dr. Sangoi experienced firsthand the disparities and challenges in accessing dental care. This kindled her passion for giving back to the community. Her combined background in public health and expertise as a pediatric dentist drive her to work hard every day and help as many children as she can to have healthy smiles. Dr. Sangoi receives great joy when she is able to connect with children who are initially anxious about their dental visit and transform their visit into a positive experience. 

Dr. Sangoi resides in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband and son. Having attended the University of Louisville for many years, she is an avid cardinals fan. Dr. Sangoi is fluent in four languages and is currently pursuing a fifth, so it’s not surprising that she enjoys traveling internationally. Her other interests include spending time with her family, all things Harry Potter and Graeter’s ice cream!
