Dr. Gillian Casey is a native of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2023. Upon finishing dental school, she completed her Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Casey is a member of the Kentucky Dental Association, American Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Casey was inspired to become a dentist by her own pediatric dentist, who transformed her childhood fear of dental work into a fun and enjoyable experience. She feels that is the most rewarding aspect of her profession, the opportunity to positively impact a patient’s life. She enjoys collaborating with families to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring a solution that works for everyone.

During her residency, she participated in the Indiana Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program. This invaluable experience taught her how to better treat and advocate for patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She also conducted research on barriers to dental care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Casey is committed to making dental care accessible for every child, striving to ensure that every child has a dental home.

In her spare time, Dr. Casey enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with family and friends, including her cat, Thomas. She is also a passionate Louisville Cardinals fan. Having spent eight years working at Dairy Kastle, a well-known Louisville ice cream spot, ice cream is one of her favorite topics of conversation (in moderation, of course).
