Dr. Claudia Espinosa-Batista was born and raised in Cuba until she was 17 years old. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida. Dr. Espinosa earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida School of Dentistry. She was influenced to become a dentist due to the lack of access to dental care she encountered growing up in an impoverished county. Dr. Espinosa strives to be a good listener and empathize with patient’s fears by gaining their trust and making them feel at ease. She believes that treating children is the best kind of challenge and finds it extremely rewarding.

Dr. Espinosa lives with her husband and their two Siberian huskies. She enjoys sewing, crafting, antiquing, and watching period-piece movies.
