Dr. An Hamman is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013. Upon finishing dental school, she earned her certificate in General Practice Residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Hamman is a member of the Indiana Dental Society and East End Dental Study Club. 

Inspired by her pediatrician father, Dr. Hamman pursued a career in dentistry. He demonstrated the true meaning of serving others with skill and compassion through his connections with families and the positive impact he had on their lives. For Dr. Hamman, dentistry proved to be the perfect fit, offering a unique combination of science, creativity, and human connection.

As a dentist and a mom, Dr. Hamman understands families and strives to create a welcoming, patient-centered space for all ages. Her goal is to make dental visits comfortable and even fun for children, easing anxiety and building lifelong positive habits. She has always wanted to help people, and dentistry allows her to do that in a hands-on, personal way — easing fears, restoring confidence, and offering care that goes beyond the clinical. What Dr. Hamman loves most is being a calm, positive presence in a child’s life and a trusted partner for parents. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Hamman and her husband have three daughters. She is passionate about travel and the outdoors — especially exploring national parks, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying the magic of Disney. When not adventuring, you can find her cheering on her girls at sports, enjoying coffee, or indulging in pasta. She also loves discovering new restaurants and reading. These interests keep her balanced and bring warmth and sincerity to her work every day.
